These graphic novels will excite my students and grow their self confidence in their reading ability. The ability to read well is the key to shaping their future. Many of my students do not have a large library of books at home to choose from and often the only books they read come from my classroom and our school library, which is sorely lacking in graphic novels. The only way to make giant gains in reading is for them to put in the time. With these graphic novels, reading time will fly by in a breeze and encourage them to read in their free time. I will also use these graphic novels to teach language arts concepts to increase interest in my lessons.
