  • Brighten Our Writing

    We have been using the bright colored paper all year long for projects, letters to people, and I use them for notes home to grown ups for important reasons. It has really come in handy!

  • Hands-on Math and Literacy Activities for Little Hands!

    My students & I are using the hands-on math & literacy activities just about every day! They cannot wait to do centers because these activities are awaiting them! The one item that was a hit was the 100 chart stickers. I put them on their HW folders so they could count numbers to 100 outside of school. They were so excited about this! Something so simple!

    When my students saw the big box of materials, I explained what they were, and who donated it. They were so excited & kept saying, "Those people are so nice!" "We love them!" I showed the class on a map where we live, Pennsylvania, and where our donors, Steve & Carolyn, live, Illinois. They could not believe that people so far away would buy something for them!

    The focus for the rest of the year is having the students learn their sight words & read! The more they see they can do it, the better readers and writers they will become! Thanks to people like you!”
