The physical setup of my classroom is geared toward students working independently and in small groups. This means we need storage to create space within the classroom for each learning area to help students focus on their current activity. This project includes several shelving units that can be used to store things easy access. There are also clear storage carts that make it easy for them to see the items inside. Having materials clearly organized helps my students learn to think in an orderly fashion and also helps foster independence as they are able to choose their activities and clean up after themselves. Learning organization at a young age sets my students up for success in their educational journey.
