This year, my students are studying the ins and outs of British Literature, which can be difficult for some readers. However, my mission is to make it fun! I plan to facilitate students collaborating with one another as they become more intimate with texts. My vision is that students will grow to see themselves in the stories. I will use anchor chart paper to help students organize characters, plots, themes, and word crafts. This particular visual aid will be especially helpful to my visual learners. Having copy paper and ink readily available will allow my students to print out their work. Some of my students don't have easy access to printers, so I feel that it's important for me to provide that resource. Setting the right ambiance for learning is important. I find that my students enjoy learning in a dimly lit space. They find it more relaxing than the bright fluorescent lights. Having twinkle lights on hooks is a fun way to brighten up the space!
