    Thank you so much for helping us reach our goal for this project!!! We are learning to love to read and these books are helping us grow! Reading to children is imperative for children to grow in throughout their education. I am blessed that we as educators get to use DonorsChoose for projects. Also, thankful for each and everyone that has donated to our projects, very thankful. I will continue to use all of these books throughout my teaching career.   • Books Galore for Kindergarten!

    I thank you so much for helping bless my students. My students love story time and they love when we get new books to read, and that really blesses my heart. Read alouds are so imperative for children, it helps them in so many ways. This will help children become better readers and happier readers. I love when I see the excitement on their faces when I pull out a new story for the day. Reading is our favorite thing and I want to say again thank you so much for helping us achieve our goal for this project!”

  • Books for Starting Kindergarten!

    Story time is our favorite time! These new books have put so many smiles on my students' faces, it is unreal! They wanted me to read all the new books in one day, wow! I love how excited and engaged they are when reading books. We are currently trying to read all of these books! :) They love Pete and Pigeon so much. My students can relate to the characters and things that happen in them. It is so important to read books to your students. I love that my students want me to read to them, it means they enjoy our books just as much as me, if not more!

  • Easy Storage for Chromebooks!

    I created this project for an easier way to get out Chromebooks for my students. These drawers make the biggest difference when my students are getting out their Chromebooks. I can charge the Chromebooks at one spot now and not have to drag Chromebooks across the room. It makes a world of a difference!! My students love their own drawer for their Chromebook, and it makes transitions go super smoothly.

  • Hands-on Learning With Sensory Table

    Thank you so much! Shannon, my kids love it! This is their favorite center to go to everyday. When it came in, my students were asking a thousand questions about. Finally, when they got to use it they were thrilled! One said, "its like a pond without water." ; ). I change it out each week, with something that goes along with theme. I cannot wait to use it with our other themes coming up. Especially, the zoo theme. I have a lot of ideas for that week :). Thank you again!! My kids love it and I do too!”

A sensory table in the classroom will benefit every student. It will help students with fine motor skills, language development, problem solving skills, and social interaction. Some of my students have never felt sand, this will be a great way for students to able to feel/see the sand. The sensory table will stimulate the students' senses: touch, smell, taste, movement, balance, sight and hearing. I love hands on learning, that is why it is very important to have a sensory table in my classroom. I believe that having the sensory table in our classroom will be very beneficial to each of my students.
