Our class carpet will serve many purposes in our classroom. It is where we will hold morning meeting, small group instruction, and reading time. Students will also be able to take brain breaks away from learning to regain focus towards their academics. Students will be eager for read alouds away from their desks. A carpet like this would create positive and varied learning opportunities for all students within my class. Our carpet is a special place where everyone feels welcome and everyone knows that something new and exciting is about to take place! The carpet is a home inside a classroom, fostering learning and creativity.
