The Lego building sets are essential tools to use in my classroom for my students to become better problem solvers. They will be used to do STEM activities on an individual or team basis to encourage their own thinking as well as learning how to work with others. To succeed in today's world, students need to think outside the box and be creative problem solvers so that is why I am passionate about providing these LEGO building sets to help my students stretch their minds and therefore become better prepared for today's world. According to a United States Department of Labor statistic, 65% of students will go into jobs that no longer exist. By providing the LEGO building sets to all of my students, they will have the opportunity to stretch their minds and become more innovative individuals. These resources are not currently available in my classroom, so my students are limited to what they can use to expand their minds to grow and learn as they need to. I promise I will use these resources to help my rural students expand their minds to succeed in today's world.
