Unlocking Imagination, Building Futures: Empowering Students through LEGO STEM Education!
Funded Jul 25, 2023I wanted to share with you how your generous donations of our Lego Essential and Spike kits, have made such an incredible impact on our classroom, particularly in the beginning part of out science unit in Energy Conversion. Class 402 wants to express pur heartfelt gratitude for your support.
These kits have turned science into a dynamic, interactive, and hands on environment. The Lego sets have promoted collaboration and communication among my students. They worked together to build, test and refine their models and most importantly they are learning and having fun!”

Might Tigers Basketball Team Needs Basketballs!
Funded Dec 3, 2019First I want to start off by thanking you personally for making these kids faces light up when they saw their new basketballs. I didn't realize that personal thank you letters from the kids had a due date so I wasn't able to upload them. Instead, Im going to share some of their words with you in this impact letter.
This is from a 4th grader named Isabella. My name is Isabella , I am a fourth grader at P.S 220. I am also on the junior varsity team. Making it into the team was a goal of mine since 2nd grade, so you can imagine how excited I was when I got picked for the team. Even though i have swim practice twice a week and other things I never find it hard to wake up early in the morning for basketball practice. My goal for my future is get a sports scholarship for college. I want to thank you for giving our team brand new basketballs.I love the way they bounce when i dribble, when i shoot and pass. I want to thank you for getting me one step closer to my goal.
This is from a 5th grader named Joshua. I love the new basketballs. They have better grip and more comfortable when dribbling. I play better and my handle is much better because of the grip. Thank you for helping us out!
This is from a 5th grader named Rose. Thank you so much for the basketballs. The basketballs help me do better in practice. It helps me because of the grip pf the ball. It isn't slippery. The ball is also the right weight. Thank you for thinking of us!
This is from a 3rd grader named Chingiz. Thank you for the donation. P.S. 220 appreciates it and we are very happy with the basketballs. J.V and Varsity have been working better and it is way better than the basketballs we have at school. We do better with our shots, layups ], dribbling, passing and 3 pointers.
As for me the coach of the team I can't thank you enough for allowing our teams to use equipment that works and gave them an excitement for this season that I haven't seen since I started coaching at the school 6 years ago. Also, the amount of basketballs donated allows every kid to have one in their hands at all times. This was my first project I ever done and something I and I know all the kids will never forget.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Galanty
