We are in our first year of implementing PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports) for our students. We have used SEL (Social Emotional Learning) for several years now with very good results and we know that PBIS works hand in hand with SEL in changing student behavior and outcomes. Our PBIS acronym is A.C.E.S. : Accountable, Considerate, Enthusiastic, and Safe and we have already seen great things with our program in the two weeks we've been back in school. In order to give incentives to students and teachers for our PBIS program, we would love to have a prize wheel to spin for students who have accumulated five or more positive behavior referrals. This particular wheel that we have selected is dry erase so we can accommodate many different prizes for students and we can use it lots of times over. We consider it an investment in our students and their growth into productive members of society. Don't be mistaken; high school students LOVE prizes and winning just as much as elementary grade and middle grade students. Help us build our program to encourage students to become Accountable, Considerate, Enthusiastic, and Safe.
