As a new teacher, I am working on building a positive, supportive and welcoming learning environment for my students. My ultimate goal is to be able to provide my students with resources for them to be successful today, such as pens, as well as more specialized resources that will enhance their learning, such as dry erase boards. These items will help me be prepared for each and every student and also create a positive and welcoming classroom, with colorful motivational posters. The items included on this list will help me welcome my students in and ensure that I will always be able to give them what they need, even if they forget items, or are unable to provide their own. I am very excited to begin my first year with my middle schoolers, and I am looking forward to fostering an inclusive social-emotional and academic environment for each and every student!
