Math White Boards, Library Books and Recess Fun!

My students are truly enjoying all of their new resources! Our Math whiteboards are such a motivating part of our Math block everyday. Students are eager to show their work on their whiteboards during class activities, projects, and even their tests.
Our classroom library is now much richer with different level books to continue encouraging students to build a love for reading!
As soon as the boxes started arriving in our classroom the students could not contain their excitement. They were all trying to figure out what was in which box. They lost it once they saw the new bungee chair, recess equipment, whiteboards and books!”

All of these school materials will help continue to enrich my student's learning. My students love being able to work their math problems out on the classroom whiteboard; being able to give them dry erase lapboards will help keep them excited and engaged for all of our learning this year. As a teacher, I find it my responsibility to instill a love for reading to each one of my students; part of motivating them to be eager to read is having a welcoming cozy library with a wide selection of books; specially books that all students can read, even my English language learners! My classroom library is a place that my students should be able to enjoy all throughout the school year. It is a place where I can read to them, where they can complete their work, and where they can read independently!
