Our students in our school sites have a 3rd-grade reading level. By using these books in my classroom, my goal is for my students to get into the habit of reading. I am trying to help my kids increase their levels and become college-ready. My school site is a Title I school, meaning that the majority of our students come from rough and poor social-economic backgrounds. These kids just need opportunity, equity. and access as other students do in other schools. One book at a time will make a difference in the life of my students. Thank you so much!
