Growing into Kindergarten
Funded Aug 14, 2024Once again my class and I would like to thank you for your donation.
Our class has already started using many of the supplies that we have received. We use the white board markers and erasers when we are working with our white boards on alphabet letter writing and phonics every morning. The multi color makers make letter writing fun. Using the little white board erases help to keep our hands clean.
The folders with pockets help us to keep our completed work and our homework nice and neat in our backpacks. Instead of sticking paper loosely in our backpack and getting all wrinkled and messy.
We use the jumbo pencils everyday as we learn to write. The jumbo pencil is just the right size for little hands and fingers.
Finally, the book bins have been placed on every table in our classroom full of books for us to read when we finish our work. Not having to get up to walk to our classroom library helps to alleviate disruptions in our class.”

Let's STEAM Up Our Learning!
Funded Dec 24, 2023Thank you again for your donations! My students have been busy with the designing and exploring of the various items purchased to help them use their imaginations and cooperative skills to build, mold, and explore. When the boxes arrived and we opened each one the smiles and excitement on their faces alone was enough to show that I had made the right selections when picking the materials that would help excite their imaginations and help them want to explore what their young minds came up with to build and design. The next step in my lesson using these materials is to ensure that their curiosity doesn't dwindle. Providing them with a challenge to help keep the excitement going. Once again I can't express how grateful we are to have individuals who are willing to support the education of young children. Thank you so very much!”

Amazing Minds in Motion
Funded Aug 3, 2023My class was beyond excited when the materials arrived. We unboxed each item and the adventure began. Imaginations were ignited and the rich conversations that took place after ensured me that my selection of materials was the right one.
We use the materials every day during stations. The materials are set up so that the children may move amount the different stations and experience all the stations and utilize all the materials.
The whole objective of this project was to get the students to get excited about thinking. Learning to use their minds as well as their hands, and to be able to communicate what they were envisioning in their minds with their peers. At first these were skills that we had to work on but with time the children began to share their imagination as well as being able to vocalize the visions they had. The stem project is a huge success and it's brought many smile and lots of laughter into our classroom.”
