Imagine being a kid, sitting on a classroom carpet with your teacher and trying to organize your papers needed for the lesson. She/he asks you to bring a pencil, paper, highlighter and folder to group work. It’s becomes overwhelming and becomes very crowded on a carpet with other children trying to write notes. My students meet with me for group work daily and it’s quite uncomfortable for them to sit and lean on folders. This would create a comfortable learning environment for them and would help keep materials organized. Please help me - help my students work in a more functional way!
