Most of the students that attend my school are low income and many won't have the opportunity to be exposed to books like this. I am a true believer that to become a good reader the students will have to read more. A lot of times they get books from the library from these series and it is out of order and they are not able to follow. Being the only 4th-grade literacy monolingual teacher at my school I will ensure that all the students that go through fourth grade monolingual will have an opportunity to read these books. Flexible seating will also provide an opportunity for students to comfortably read their new books.
