As a first-year Kindergarten teacher, my students and I are both walking into an empty classroom.
With your help, their year will be filled with academic learning, positive growth, and an unwavering self-belief in the possibility of their own success.
The seat cubbies and plastic pouches will give my students a space to store their materials during class so they are able to engage with lessons in a distraction-free environment. Most importantly, these seat cubbies and plastic pouches act as tool kits and allow my students to know they are well-deserving of their own space and materials.
With the rainbow bins and organizers, I will create a color-coded system with specific places and routines for materials within my classroom. The bulletin materials will allow me to foster a positive, calming, and comfortable area for my students. With the drawers, I plan on making a variety of file folders and task boxes that the students can complete on their own in order to increase their independence and confidence in their academics. It is important for little ones to cultivate this skill as they mature and grow throughout their first year of school. The wireless doorbell serves as a friendly attention grabber or sound signal when it is time to transition in group work!
Hand-sanitizer, tissues, and Clorox wipes will help us decrease the likelihood of germs spreading. Our attention to hygiene will also decrease the number of absence throughout the year.
Young children thoroughly enjoy working with manipulatives! The counting bears, alphabet magnets, and dry-erase pocket sleeves will allow my students to experience hands-on, interactive learning.
Help me create a vibrant environment with highly engaging materials that will assist in my students' growth! Thank you in advance for investing in the lives of these little, fun, loving humans!
