• Hydration and Basketballs

  Thank you so much for single-handedly funding this project! This project was for our girls and boys 5/6 basketball teams. The basketballs helped our kiddos practice the foundations of the game. They practiced outside because we don't have a gym they can use, every once in a while they get to practice in the cafeteria. Practicing outside takes a tool on the equipment. The balls get ware out easier and "pop" they have been using our classroom balls to practice. They were so excited when they saw the new balls. They were also supplied with study water bottles that they used for practice and games.

• Let's Get Rewarded!

  Thank you so much for your generous donations. The kids were so excited to see the new rewards added. After state testing was finished, I allowed them to pick and color a bag of their choosing. It was the perfect end-of-the-year coloring activity. The kids really enjoyed it. The majority of my class was able to pick out multiple prizes. They got rewarded for reading and only 2 students didn't meet their goal but they really tried their best. Thank you for keeping our kiddos motivated to do their best! We couldn't have done this without you. Thank you!”

• More Water, Please!

  Thank you so much for your kindness and support. The kids have been enjoying their granola bars. Especially the ones that have to stay after school for sports or for an afterschool program. Some just get up and grab a granola bar if they missed breakfast, or they miss lunch. They were truly thankful for the water bottles they have been reusing them. Some had never tried water flavoring so it was a nice treat and surprise for them. The lifesavers have been just that lifesavers. The kids pass them out, especially during testing it seems to calm their nerves a bit. We are truly thankful for your generosity. Thank you!”

• Reading Rewards!

  Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to reward the kiddos. It has been such a difficult year and rewards seem to be the only motivators that keep our kiddos going. These rewards are definitely keeping our classroom alive and motivated. Every time a student reaches their reading goal they get their gift card. It keeps the other students motivated to try and reach their goals. The weekly gift card raffles have also been working to motivate students to complete their homework. Thank you so much for providing us with these incentives.”

• Our Sharpeners Broke!

  Thank you guys so much for our new sharpeners, you are lifesavers. Our old ones were not working. The kids will be kids and sharpen all day. The pencils and sharpeners were opened immediately as soon as they arrived. You know that item you know you need to replace but have no way of replacing it. Those were our sharpeners for us. Thank you so much for making our end of the school year a little bit easier. Thanks to your donation we now have two working sharpening areas in our classroom. The kids and I couldn't be more relieved to have a functioning sharpener. Thank you sooo much for your continued support!”

• Dia Del Niño Surprise

  Thank you guys so much for these sweet treats for our kiddos. They were so excited when they saw the surprise. I was in a meeting at the end of the day and had our substitute hand them their surprise for "Dia de niño." I had a few of the students that stayed after class because they were so excited. They loved the ducks and the cereal that the bags contained. Some of their younger siblings asked if I had any ducks left and of course, I gave them the few that were leftover. Thank you for keeping their Mexican traditions alive and in the classroom. The kids are truly blessed to you guys in their life. Thank you!”

• Future Writers!

  Thank you so much for your continued support! The kids were so excited when they saw the new supplies. You should have seen their smiles when they saw all the pen packets. They were so excited when they were told they got to keep them. I genuinely believe no one has ever bought them multicolored pens. These come in handy every day. We color code and differentiate our writing and having different colored pens makes it so much easier. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to finish this year's writing strong. At the beginning of the year, they couldn't even write a paragraph, now they are creating multi-page stories. Thank you for all of your support and for making this year a little bit easier! ”

• Instant Memories

  Thank you guys so much for giving us the opportunity to make instant memories. The kids will love having this camera around. Now we can post actual pictures on our classroom walls. The camera will come in handy come graduation time. They will be able to take pictures and take them home. This will give them a keepsake of the memories they have created this year. • Dog Man Books

  We can't thank you enough for our Dog Man books! The kids were so excited when they saw the books, and that's when they thought they were for the class library. They were filled with joy when I told them someone purchased them for them. The class loves them so much. They were so excited to be able to choose and keep their own book. Dog man, the stuffed dog, stays on our classroom library shelf. The kids really enjoy seeing him there. They couldn't believe someone was kind enough to get everyone one of them an expensive book. • Sports Make Us Thirsty!

  Thank you guys so much for these donations and support. The kids have been reusing the sturdy water bottles. They get granola bars and snacks before practice, which works out great because practice is an hour after school ends. They were very, very happy. These are the only basketballs they have to practice. Both the boys' and girls' teams have been using them. Thank you for giving them the equipment and the experience to play such a fun and competitive sport. Since getting these balls they have the opportunity for better small practices. It is very hard to practice with one ball. They will remember your support for a ready long time. Thak you for making a huge difference in our school!”
