In order for my students to succeed, my students need an organized learning environment. Organization in the classroom is fundamental for the learning process. I am requesting bins for organizing my students' library books. I want my students to find all of the materials in the classroom and have easy access to them. This is why I am also requesting binders so students could save their work and view their progress over time. I am also requesting pocket charts, visual timers, chart paper and caddy holders for students. These materials will further assist my students' academic success by making the academic content and materials more visual and accessible to them. Although in the first year, this will only reach 8 students, supplies will be used for years to come and will help so many students who come into their classroom!
