My Kinder is Going for 100-Book Challenge!

First and foremost thank you for your donation.

My classroom desperately needed a library full of books of different genres and when I got my project funded my kiddos where excited about receiving new books.

When the books arrived, their faces light up the classroom. They were so happy and intrigue when I open the boxes, they just could not believe that a total stranger gave them the library that they desperately wanted.

That day we had a class discussion about the different types of books that our class got and then we set up our library center and explained how can we use that center.

Today I'm proud to say that all my student are crazy about our library center and that each day are learning new words, having an enrich print environment, and they never getting tired of listening to the stories of our dear library center.

We have in our class thanks to your donation 4 students reading 70 or more words per minute (above 1st. grade level), 5 students reading 20 or more words per minute (at first grade level) and 8 students reading 6 or more words per minute (above the expectation of kinder).

So from the bottom of my heart and the hearts of my little ones we are gratefully thankful of having an angel just like you.”
