The STEM supplies I am asking for will be used to build Chemistry/Physics stations for students. We will use the water rocket bottles and the Physics Stem Kits as culminating activities after teaching the kiddos about Newton's Three Laws of Motion. Students will be able to make connections from what they read by having hands-on realia to support their thoughts and ideas. I will use Skype A Scientist to have students talk with real Chemists as an introduction to the Chemistry part of the GATE program. The Chemistry materials will allow students to investigate and explore what acids and bases are and help them understand that many things we use in our lives are made up of these substances.
