  I truly appreciate your donation to my project. The items I received are helping the kids by providing them with important school supplies that they otherwise would not be bringing to class. I have paid for a lot of things out of my own pocket so it's very nice to have donors to help with this project.

  The kids are able to write now on paper that can be turned into me for a grade. And of course there's always a shortage of pencils so the shortages in my class are paper and pencil for sure. You have provided those items and I truly appreciate it. Thank you.”

• ESL Classroom Supplies

  Thank you so much for the awesome supplies you have equipped my students and my classroom with. All of my students are minorities and cannot afford their class supplies. They can now keep their work in order, listen to audio books and have pencils!! Yay!!! They simply cannot afford these things.

  I have purchased many things out of my own pocket, but on a teacher's salary, and being a single mom, I cannot supply all of their needs. Thanks to generous donors like you, together we can! You have also provided me, as a teacher, with supplies that help me teach effective lessons.”

• Listening Station for ESL!

  My class is very blessed to have this listening station. Unfortunately, the company that was supposed to send the CDs with books has not done so, despite my numerous emails to Donors Choose. Still hoping they arrive one day. In the meantime, I am playing kid songs on there in English.

  I know this will eventually come together.

  In the meantime, I'd like you to know we are using it and we look forward to making it a daily center activity.

  I really don't have 100 more words to write, however, I'm order to submit this I must write another 100 words.

  The students are singing along with some of the songs. Many of them are learning the alphabet, days of the week, months of the year, and basic songs in English by using this listening station.

• Speak, Record and Listen!

  Having these amazing headphones with microphones has been awesome for my ESL students.

  They are recording themselves speaking English and listening to their recordings. After they record and listen, they are able to re-record themselves. This allows them to expand their original response.

  The students were a bit shy at first. However, now they are more comfortable with recording themselves.

  I am truly blessed to be able to provide this awesome resource to my students. They are thriving and speaking better.

• Yoga for Students

  Thank you so very much for helping to fund my project. I have my students for two periods back to back and they definitely need to stretch and practice mindfulness. These items will allow them to stretch, do some yoga, and sit and practice mindfulness. I just can't thank you enough. These students are going to feel so much better doing yoga. Our floor is tile, so they definitely needed these matts to use.”

• Empowering Our Newcomers by Helping Them Learn English

  The impact that the dictionaries has made in my classroom is amazing. My students are now able to use an up-to-date dictionary without torn pages. The font is also larger, so it helps them find words easier.

  These dictionaries help them define words they do not understand when they are reading and writing. It also helps them find the right words when they are verbally communicating with me or with their peers.

  All of the students I have are very grateful to have these dictionaries and grateful for your donation. I am so thankful for your generosity. Bless you.”

• !Español For Everyone!

  I truly appreciate all of your generosity. The donations I received have added life to my classroom. The decorations have helped me place posters to assist the students in learning Spanish. They cover different topics and the students often refer to them to assist them with their work.

  The books I was able to acquire have given the students extra materials they can use to reinforce what we are learning in Spanish class. Especially since the school I work for is unable to provide many of the necessities that we have.

  The vocabulary flash cards help the students learn classroom vocabulary.

  I did not post any pictures of my students due to the fact that I was not able to obtain permission from them to post their pictures. However, please know that the materials have been very useful.
