I have been teaching 3rd grade for the past six years, and this year I will be teaching 4th grade in a brand new school! YIKES! My nerves! As I am beginning to set my classroom up for the school year, I realize that my room used to be a storage closet! Plain white walls, old desks, and hard floors are not appealing to the eye for a 4th grader. The supplies that I am in need of will help give these students a reason to come to school. I want my classroom to feel like home, and it can only feel like home if it looks like one!
