The pedometer and heart rate monitors will allow my students instant feedback as to whether or not they are in the zone. Not only do they get to see their steps but how they worked hard according to their heart rate. They will be able to effectively write SMART Goals and have the data to support their physical hard work in class. They will be able to see and graph their progress to keeping up their exercise plan goals. This will allow them to use graphing and problem solving skills using their own data from their workouts. Being able to graph and keep track of their own data will allow them to reflect upon their own physical fitness and how to make their lives healthy and more fit.
