I am asking for a variety for books including The Outsiders, Carrie and Thinner. These books will promote a love for reading in a world where gaming is at the front of students' minds. My classroom library will be a place where students can retreat into a different world and immerse themselves in the adventures of another. I want them to spread out and get comfortable when it's time to read. My goal is to create avid and lifelong readers. These books have been chosen with my students interests in mind, while some are classics others are just for fun to remind students that reading should be fun. The requested seating, cushions and tables are meant to promote flex seating, as well as make it slightly easier to get up in front of the class and present projects.
