These materials will help tremendously with getting more technology into the hands of my scholars as we investigate the world around us! These tablets would enable us to venture outside to learn more about our local ecosystems, habitats, and the deciduous forest in which we live by taking pictures of plants, animals, and how they interact. Or they could be utilized to help my English language learners with translations as we read passages about what we are studying together in class. The posters would be utilized to provide visuals during my units about the human body systems and how they are interrelated, as well as units about weather, water cycle, ecosystems, and biomes. Visual aids are extremely important for many of my learners who often struggle to put a picture or image with a description, especially when the majority of my scholars have never been to any other types of environments or strayed far from our city boundaries.
