Help me give my students recess equipment that will encourage more active indoor and outdoor play. We have play structures on our playground, but my students don't have the equipment to play with. Many students sit on the track and talk with friends because they are not interested in climbing on the play structures. We are limited to exercise videos when indoor recess is required. Having equipment will encourage students to participate and be more active during recess. I want to give my students recess equipment to encourage more active play and develop positive peer relationships. Giving students choices during recess time will build and encourage relationships, which will carry over during instructional class time. Working as a team is important in class, on the playground, and in life! This equipment would be a game-changer for my students!
