People on the Autism Spectrum learn in unique ways. Visuals are a key component of that learning. From picture cards to help them find their words, to engaging and colorful task cards to motivate interest, a color copy machine is vital to providing these resources. Many of my students are not only living with significant speech and language delays, but are also balancing a life of two cultures. I hope to use this printer to also bring their Native American history alive with stories and posters to maintain a culturally responsive environment.
