These items will be put to good use daily in my classroom. Adding these items to my classroom will promote a cozier environment for learning. This project will give the students an opportunity to work in different areas than just their desk. Often we gather on the floor for instructions, discussions, and read alouds- a carpet would be beneficial for my students. They currently have to sit on the tile flooring when we gather together. Students would be excited to be able to sit on stools while working at a table instead of the chairs they have to sit in all day. Also, the chairs will provide a comfortable spot of them to cozy up with a good book.
