  • Books for 2nd Graders

    Funded Oct 27, 2024

Thank you for all your support. A lot of the books I usually have to buy. Your gift has helped my little class so much.

They have been reading them weekly. This helps build fluency. When their fluency improves then we can work on comprehension.

My children in my class have special needs and are lower in reading level then the kids their age. They do better reading books that interest them. Your donations provided us the ability to do so

Again, thank you for helping my little class with their reading journey.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Selover

  • STEM Kits for My 6:1:1

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Thank you for the donations. It really is helping my students improve with problem solving , experimenting, and even OT skills.

Without donations from people like you my class would have very little to work with.

My students are progressing because of donors like you.

Once again thank you for making learning possible in Public schools. We are a self contained classroom and have very little to work with. You gave us what we needed to be successful.

I wish I could take pictures to show you how happy my students were to get new things to play with but due to confidentiality I can't.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Selover

  • Help Make Learning Fun

    Funded Sep 26, 2023

Thank you for all your support. The materials that I received from this project are really helping me make learning for them hands on. I am using the materials to make stem baskets for my kiddos to interact with and build things.

This isn't just helping them learn academically. It is also helping them use them during break times when they are frustrated with school work or each other.

My students do have disabilities but resources like these help them forget them and engage in learning in a more creative way.”

  • Cleanliness Helps

    Funded Aug 27, 2019

The 6th grade at Native American Magnet School want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We can't believe there was someone out there who cared so much to help us.

First, the students want you to know that they are so happy they have the supplies needed readily available. They now do not have to have the teacher search the school to get a hold of the things they need. They just have to go to the area and take out what they need in a quick manner.

Second, they want to thank you for saving them from embarrassing moments. Now they can not be picked on for smelling. They can privately tell the teacher what they need without being embarrassed. Sometimes they forget to put on deodorant or they don't have any. They are extremely happy about the toothbrushes and toothpaste. That even opens them up and allows them to speak more in class. They feel more confident with themselves.

Once again we would just like to say thank you for caring and having our backs. You are awesome. It also makes us one day want to pay it forward and help someone like you did!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Selover
