Thank you so much for helping me get high quality picture books into the hands of our students! They are going to love going to the Read Play Talk room and exploring all our new books! Your funding of this project will make a difference in our kids lives now, as well as for future kindergarteners who visit the Read Play Talk room and enjoying reading and talking about these great books!”

Reading, playing and talking, along with writing all work together to make literate individuals. These colorful, high-interest picture books will stimulate conversations and growing oral language skills. Developing students oral language skills directly affects their ability to talk and write about books. Having books available at school is so important for these kids because many of them do not have books in their homes. With a classroom library, it will be easy for them to practice the skills they are learning at school that will help them to become amazing readers and writers. Most of all, these books will allow the students to grow their love for reading and writing.
