I have one goal for my students: Read what you love until you love to read! I want to foster a love of reading in all of my students - no matter the topic or genre. Flexible seating options will allow my students to get comfortable as they learn to love to read. Just imagine sitting in a cushioned chair curled about with a comic book. Or, choosing to sit in a sling backed chair while reading about dinosaurs. Sounds amazing does it not! Another way the flexible seating options can be used is to share chairs. Students can choose to sit in one of the new seats while sharing with their classmates about the book they are loving.
