We have one copy of this book, and whenever I am able to use it in class for lessons, students always ask to borrow it. It's one of the few texts that have universal interest, and I would like to use it in class every year. A class set would allow all of my students to read this engaging and informative text. This text is applicable to several of our reading comprehension standards, and will allow me to build the prescribed skills and knowledge within the context of a grade-level, age appropriate, and highly engaging text. This text will also build bridges into our school's career paths, such as: Medical, Emergency Services, Law, and GIS.
