Art Mess
Funded Nov 9, 2023My students are in heaven with all of these new paint supplies! I think painting has been their favorite activity in my classroom all year. Students have learned different painting techniques either from me or from watching online painting videos. I can't wait to see what they create next. Our classroom looks like it has turned into a giant art studio. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful individuals and foundations help us fund our project. Again, thank you all so much for supporting our projects!”

Gelli Printing in the GT Classroom!
Funded Jun 15, 2023Oh wow! My kids love this so much!!
My students weren't sure about this at first, but once they started to figure it out they liked it. Students have been watching tutorial videos to teach them different ways to use the Gelli Plates. The Gelli Plates are being used for print making in our classroom. This has been a challenge for them to figure out, but they are getting it. They are still working on pretty simple print making tasks, like using their initials to create painted papers. Hopefully, they will only continue to improve on their print making skills.
Thank you so much for donating to our project!”

Funded Mar 13, 2023My students are loving the yoga mats!! They were so excited when we opened up the box and it was full of yoga mats.
I can't get over how much they are enjoying them. They come to class everyday asking if we can do yoga. Students tell me that it has helped them to relax in the middle of the day and they say they feel so much better. Even my boys are doing yoga and not complaining.
Hopefully we will be able to incorporate more yoga time into our daily routines. We are all seeing the benefits of learning to take care of ourselves.”

Growing Student Strategy Skills
Funded Sep 20, 2021Thank you for funding our project. My students were so excited when they opened the boxes and they love the games so much! They beg to play the games everyday.
I wanted the games so that the students could work on social skills and strategy skills. So many students do not know how to interact face to face with people. This is an important skill for them to succeed in life and several students only know how to interact through electronics.
I have enjoyed watching my students interact with each other and be competitive through the games.
Again, thank you so much for funding our project.”
