The use of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) in today's technology driven world is crucial for the 21st Century student! By exposing students to STEM based learning techniques, we teach children how to find solutions to real-world problems, by emphasizing project-based learning. Most STEM lessons involve building models and simulating situations. The biggest and most important benefit of a good STEM lesson, is it ensures that students understand the connection to the real world. By donating to our project, you will help continue the many benefits of a STEM education, and re-enforce the fact that STEM encompasses the most engaging, hands-on subjects in our schools today. The most crucial and important benefit of STEM classes, is the fact that they aid in the development of some of the most necessary skills needed by today's student. Skills such as creativity, communication, collaboration, critical & analytical thinking, problem solving, innovation, argumentation, intellectual curiosity, and data analysis. I have seen first hand how a STEM based education can greatly increase a child's desire to learn. To put it simply, STEM can literally fan the flame of education in a students life. These materials will greatly help in the fanning of this flame, and I thank you in advance for all your help!
