One of the ways I will use the document camera is by projecting the bilingual picture books I need for the class. The students will be able to following along as we read. After we read in English, the students will be able to verify their understanding by reading the same thing in Spanish. With the new bilingual book, my students will be able to practice reading independently in English and gradually obtain fluency and understanding. This will help them gain confidence as they learn a second language. My students are eager to learn English and this project will help them.
