  • Fun Wipebook Flipcharts

    Funded Aug 17, 2022

I would like to thank you for your generous donations and for making my math class more fun and engaging.

As I shared with you, the photos show how my students are working in groups, collaborating and sharing ideas.

They are enjoying math activities while moving around, doing the galleria work, grading each other and learning from misconceptions.

This fun and engaging environment is realised thanks to you.

Your donations are making dreams come true and are helping education progress and blossom.

    Thank you”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Barakat

  • Fun Online Teaching

    Funded May 20, 2020

I can't thank you enough for sponsoring my fun learning project. You all know that during these unprecedented days, most of our students are learning virtually. As a teacher I am trying to manage my instructional time wisely by relying on great ,fast, and sophisticated devices such as the iPad you funded with your generous offers. Also the snowball microphone is a great tool that I use with the iPad for clear sound effects during my meetings with my students. The Tripod with joystick Head and smart phone clamp allows me to record a video of the corrections of homework on my cell phone before posting them into Microsoft Teams, so the students can learn from their mistakes.

The students are actually focused on learning lessons without being interrupted by glitches or malfunctions that I used to experience with my very dated desktop.

Before the fun learning project, the Math lesson that I teach today in 20 minutes would have taken me at least an hour to complete. The students, being bored, distracted, and frustrated would lose interest in the subject. Therefore the learning outcome would be very unsatisfactory.

Thank you dear donors for making learning math fun and beneficial to my students.”

    With gratitude,

  • The All Engaging Projector

    Funded Nov 22, 2019

A big thank you from me and my eighth-grade students

I rejoice to tell you that your graciously donated document camera was very well received and appreciated. The first day we installed the camera, we were eager to use it and to see its impact on the children's learning process. The feedback was much better than what we even anticipated.

Everyone is happy to clearly see the projection of small texts, pictures, or 3D objects on the smart board. Students are more tuned and engaged accomplishing tasks and proudly showing their work to the rest of the class.

Your generous donation has positively affected all students in my classroom by increasing the readability of projected documents, in addition to fewer lesson interruptions that would take place with the debilitated previous model we had. The Elmo document camera provided everything we need to make learning easier and helped me do my job better.

Again, thank you for all you do for our kids. You are part of their development too.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Barakat

The current classroom camera projector is very outdated and delivers a poor wall picture of the material to be taught. It also needs to be adjusted by the IT department frequently, sometimes mid-session. These regular disruptions often cause students to lose interest, or start chatting among themselves as they wait for the next part of the lesson. Then, more time would be wasted on classroom management. With the new camera projector I can focus my full time delivering engaging lessons without the burden of any interruptions due to technology failures, waiting for IT and transitioning back and forth from board to projector.
