  • Nate the Great

    Funded Oct 11, 2023

Thank you so much for the generous gift . My students really enjoyed reading these books and it sparked a great love of reading. It's because of generous donations that I can continue to spark that love of reading in the younger grades. Nate the great is a great starter book to introduce chapter books to students and to have a class set really does help the students to get more into the story and elements . They are able to interact in a more one on one setting. So again thank you for your generous donation.”

  • Kindergarten Basics

    Funded Aug 2, 2023

It's because of generous donations like yours that we were able to get our supplies. My students were so excited to get their supplies at the beginning of the school year and it has really made a difference. The students use their journals every day for reading and writing time and they are able to correctly write and illustrate their writing because of the primary journals. We are able to have more than enough glue for those fun activities that work on their motor skills and students are able to use scissors and practice their motor skills there as well. Again thank you so much for your generosity, it really helps teachers when we don't have to worry about materials and supplies because we are able to get it provided. It also helps us to take the burden off of our families as well they don't have to stress over supplies and they can focus on providing for their families.”

  • Coding With KIBO!

    Funded Feb 23, 2023

The KIBO robot has made such a huge impact on my students. When I first introduced them to the Kibo robot it was met with intrigue and amazement. The students were amazed that they had a tool in their classroom that they could make do things. The first time I allowed the students to use KIBO they were all so extremely excited and were racing one another to get a turn to control it. What I like most of all is that while they are using KIBO they are learning and not even know it. It is teaching them so much more than coding skills and for that, I am so grateful because it has brought a sense of joy and wonderment to my classroom. Once again thank you so much for your generous donations.”

  • At Home or on the Go Learning is a GO!

    Funded Feb 23, 2021

Thank you so much for your generous donations. It's because of generous donors like yourself that makes my job as an educator that much more easier. My students and I really appreciate the gracious donations that help our classroom. My students are able to have access to the best materials that without you we would not have access to. My students are able to succeed because I have the tools to help them reach their goals. My students have materials that their parents might not have been able to afford based on the community my school serves.”

  • Math on the GO GO!

    Funded Dec 13, 2020

This project has helped my students so much. When they saw the materials that had been given they were so excited, some of them had just transitioned from remote live instruction into a hybrid setting for the first time and have not been in a school setting. These materials make a difference so much because a lot of our parents struggle to make ends meet so for them to be able to have access to packages that include things they can use and then not have to worry about others using their materials brings such a huge peace of mind to everyone.”

  • See It ! Learn It ! Love It !

    Funded Aug 12, 2020

These materials have made it so easy for me to help show my students concepts that it is difficult to show them online. the new products are exciting for my students because whether we are in class or remote I can easily transport these items back and forth and keep a sense of normalcy within our class. My brick and mortar students have especially benefited from these materials because they can see it in person on a daily basis. it is because of generous donors, that us teachers can continue to offer our students rigorous content and still have materials even during this very trying time where there is so much uncertainty. Myself and my students would like to say from the bottom of our hearts a massive thank you to you and to future donors that help our classroom out. This year has definitely been a challenge but donations like this help make it a little easier.”

  • Excellent Writers

    Funded Nov 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. These Journals and pencils help so much in our classroom because they help my English as a second language students the most. One of the most important things that we do in our classroom to help our students is that we write and we have a writing component in our lessons everyday. My students are more confident in their writing abilities now that they have a journal to keep all of their work organized than ever before. I have noticed a tremendous shift in our classroom because they are writing more and understanding that they can connect what they write with an illustration. Thank you so much again for helping the process to create successful students and successful writers.”

  • Engaging Emergent Learners

    Funded Oct 4, 2019

Thank you so much for the generous donations of our two iPads. These iPads have helped so much in our classroom. The students have so much more fun using the tablets as well as it helps me with managing the amount of students that are able to get on to complete their digital assignments required by the school. Many of my students do not have access to computers or internet at home and many of them do not have the transportation to reach these resources at local libraries so being able to have extra support at school makes the difference. Many of the students prefer the use of the tablets over the use of the laptops we share with our neighboring class.”

  • Excellent Organization

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

Thank you so much for the opportunity you have given my students. The chair pockets have made such a huge difference in our classroom. Having 25 students in a small classroom with tables instead of individual desks was proving to be an organizational hassle because we were not sure where the students were going to put materials, where they were going to keep their classwork and textbooks, however with these chair pockets I am teaching the students organizational skills.

I have implemented these chair pockets since day one and the students love coming in and seeing their names on them. When I tell them to pull something out of their pocket they immediately know what to do. It has also increased the safety of the classroom because it eliminates the need for the students to have their oftentimes bulky bookbags on the back of their chairs which can cause a trip hazard for not only them but for myself and my assistant. I want to again take the opportunity to thank you all and I know my students thank you as well.”
