Dual Language Super Readers!
Funded Sep 20, 2023As an educator, incorporating books about feelings and self-esteem into our classroom has had a profound impact on my students' emotional well-being and social development. These resources have become essential tools for fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. When the students first saw the books about feelings and self-esteem, their reactions were heartwarming. The colorful and engaging covers immediately drew their attention, and as we began reading, I could see the curiosity and interest in their eyes. The stories resonated with them, allowing for meaningful discussions about emotions and self-worth. In our recent lessons, we've been using these books as a foundation for social-emotional learning activities.”

Funded Aug 25, 2023As an educator, the recent addition of ten frames, snap blocks, counters, and a pocket chart for numbers 1-120 to our classroom has been transformative. These materials have become invaluable tools in enhancing our math curriculum and promoting interactive learning experiences.
When the students first laid eyes on the new math materials, their reactions were a mix of excitement and curiosity. The vibrant colors and tactile nature of the snap blocks and counters immediately captured their attention. The ten frames and pocket chart sparked interest as the students began to explore the possibilities of hands-on math activities.
In our recent lessons, we've been using the ten frames for visualizing numbers and operations, helping students grasp concepts of addition and subtraction more concretely. The pocket chart for numbers 1-120 has been a game-changer for our daily routines. It serves as a dynamic visual aid for number recognition, counting, and sequencing.”

Kindergarten Dual-Language Super Stars!
Funded Aug 17, 2023As a teacher, I'm overjoyed to discuss the beneficial effects our supporters' kind donations have had on my classroom. Pencils, paper, dry-erase markers, and erasers may seem like basic materials, but they have greatly improved our day-to-day operations.
My pupils were so pleased to get these items. It may surprise you to learn that access to high-quality pencils, markers, and paper is a luxury for some of them. The delight was evident when they discovered how much creativity and expression these little items afforded.
We have used whiteboards and dry-erase markers for interactive exercises in our most recent lectures. With these technologies, the students actively participate in brainstorming sessions, problem-solving, and collaborative learning. On the other hand, the return of conventional note-taking and sketching has been made possible by pencils and paper, allowing pupils to customize their educational experience.”
