Help support Mrs. Sprouse's Classroom

Our middle school was built in 1969 and had no physical updates until 2018 when I was able to have it painted in bright colors. That small change inspired me to add a few new tables, chairs, and soft seating to the space. However, I was only able to fund a few items to give the flavor of what the space could be. My crafts students also got involved and painted the bookcases in the fiction section to coordinate with each genre of books. Everyone in the school is so proud of their work, and I would really like to continue the remodel by adding more soft seating. Updating the library will impact our entire school population. We have at least 150 students who use the library each day. They are there for reading, small group work, library lessons, and special projects. Adding more soft seating will make the library more inviting and comfortable for our students. The library is the hub of our school, and our students need this seating to complete this remodel. The colors we have chosen will help highlight their artwork and make this a more student-centered space for learning and having fun. Every student in our school will be able to enjoy this space.
