Collaboration Table Seating
Funded Sep 19, 2019What an honor it was to have you donate to our project. We are very grateful for your generosity. Thank you so much!
We have used the seating you provided on several occasions aside from just general seating. In our Principles of Education and Training class, students had to create a blended learning opportunity where there was a technology component as well as a hands-on component. This was not yet required to have learning standards, but to get them comfortable with teaching something they knew and were comfortable presenting to the class. In the photos, you will see where a student taught us to "Spin Like a Viking." He carries this spinner around school with him and any he has free time, he spins yarn from raw wool. The kids LOVED this project!
Another student taught us to make edible smiley faces with apple slices, Nutella and marshmallows. Smiles all around for that one!
As the yearbook advisor, we have page proofs that come in after we've sent out files digitally. We have to go through page by page to confirm quality. As shown in one of the photos, we had several pages come in that we had to proof. It was so much more comfortable to proof them sitting in these chairs than having to stand around the table reading each headline, story, caption, page folio and even the photo credits.
These chairs have been fabulous for our class and very helpful. As you can see in the final photo, it's currently set up for the send-off tomorrow for our Christmas break.”
With gratitude,
Ms. D
