The maazines and seating I am requesting come after spending the week before school looking at things we as a school feeder system can improve on, and the focus this year is reading academic non-fiction text. I also want to provide comfortable space for students to grow with the skills by the choice of using flexible seating. My students would gain so much from the use of these magazines subscriptions including confidence with their reading and a better understanding of the world we live in. We would be able to work on a skill they struggle in, while still focusing on the social studies topics we cover like geography, history, and globalization.
