Flexible Seating
Funded Sep 23, 2021I can't begin to thank you enough for the donations. Your support of my pre-K classroom has made a difference. The students use the flexible ball chairs daily. They assist our students with concentration, mobility, and adds a great element of fun to our classroom.
Our Alphabet and Number doh mats are used daily. We have a number of the week as well as 3 letters each week. We use Play-Doh to strengthen our hands and build the alphabet at the same time, developing those fine motor skills.
The marker dabbers add so much fun to our Letters. We have a weekly DOT IT worksheet where students will dab out the letters. Art is very close to my heart, this medium breaks up the crayon coloring and provides an exciting way to bring the alphabet to life.
One of the kids favorite activities is the Sand Sensory bin. (The teacher loves it as well) It is not only fun, but it is very calming. I have several special needs and ADHD students in my classroom, this bin has provided many calming hours to our precious kiddos.
Last but not least, the gift that keeps on giving, the teachers RED BALL CHAIR. This has been the best thing I have ever had. I have multiple injuries from a car accident years ago, so I can't sit Kris cross applesauce with my students. But this ball chair brings me comfort and I can get down with the kiddos at and read without pain. This is wonderful and I can't thank you enough for all of your donations. Our classroom has had a better learning experience this year due to your generosity.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Lester
