  • We're Going On A New Adventure!

    Thank you so much for generously donating to my classroom! With all of your donations I have been able to greatly expand my classroom library while having more options available for my students to safely access. Due to covid, we have restrictions and guidelines we have to follow with using books, so this has helped us tremendously! These books have generated a lot of interest in history with the I Survived series. They are a very popular choice! Some of the books teach students about social and emotional skills. We use these every week for our class Olweus lessons. In my classroom, students are allowed to choose books to read independently at their desks that peak their interests. These books have definitely interested more of my students. We appreciate your generosity with helping our class get new books!”

  • Flexible Seating for Our New Classroom!

    Thank you so much for donating to my class for flexible seating. These wobble stools are able to help my students who need to be moving while in the classroom. They can use these and still participate and learn in class. When my class first saw the new stools they were so excited! They all wanted to use one! They couldn't wait to be able to try them out. The next steps that we will be taking with this project is to allow multiple students to use the wobble stools. This will help me see who will truly benefit from these resources. We are very grateful for your donations, so we are able to continue to learn and impact more students with multiple needs.”

These stools will help students tremendously. These stools will allow them to have something different to sit on besides just being in a regular chair! This type of seating will allow children to move back and forth while they are learning! This will improve their focus and attention to learning because they will not be sitting still for long periods of time. Instead, they will be able to move while they are learning!! This will overall, increase their learning potential, which will make them more successful in our classroom! Students will no longer be sitting still and feeling not engaged in the lesson. They will be able to move and learn at the same time!

About my class
