Headphones are essential in helping students use the available technologies to the best of their abilities. Our school is in a high poverty area making simple materials such as headphones often hard for families to provide. This makes providing these much needed materials the school's responsibility. My 6th grade class will be using Chromebooks for the first time this year and having headphones will help them implement this new tool into their learning. The students must be able to concentrate while learning using Chromebooks. The use of headphones will allow them to each be working on materials that are tailored to their needs all at the same time because they will not be disturbing each other.

About my class
