Funded Jan 14, 2023Thank you so much for helping our classroom stay organized, engaging, and conducive to quality learning! The classroom basics we received are all thanks to your generosity. We use the colored paper, pencils, sterilize drawers, and all other supplies every single day in our 3rd grade classroom. Students are able to organize their materials easier, which minimizes instructional time lost due to transitions. They are also more engaged with the simple switch of their classwork being on bright, fun paper rather than plain white paper. Thank you so much for your support, it truly means the world to us!”

Creating Community Through Read Alouds in 5th Grade
Funded Aug 26, 2021Thank you so much for helping me provide my 5th graders with quality read aloud books to enjoy throughout the school year. So far, we have discussed topics like equity, the power of yet, and empathy. We will continue to engage in important conversations sparked by these amazing books.
Although I like to read aloud to my students, we have a special bookshelf in our class library dedicated to read aloud books that students can read on their own during independent reading time if they would like to. It is so heartwarming to see students choosing to read our read alouds before we get to them as a class, or read them again on their own.”
