  • Visual Aids

    Funded Apr 2, 2021

Thank you for supporting my classroom and wonderful students. We use anchor charts for math and reading. These reusable visual aids will make this process much easier. They are magnetic which will be helpful and the size will allow my students to see the charts from anywhere in the room. I no longer need to store the charts I currently have which are made from paper. The charts you helped to purchase are reusable and will help me with organization.

Thank you for giving this generous gift to my students, we will use this resource everyday.”

    With gratitude,

  • Helping Science Come to Life!

    Funded Apr 1, 2021

Thank you for supporting our classroom. My students love science because they like to do hands on activities. With these resources they will be able to build simple machines, explore magnets and create endless projects with the legos. They will be able to use these items in small groups or to experiment on their own. I am excited to start incorporating these supplies into my lesson plans.

Next year's science class will be amazing, all thanks to your generous donations. We are grateful that you chose our classroom to support.”

  • There is Nothing Like Getting Lost in a Book

    Funded Mar 4, 2021

I had a nice classroom library but the books were not up to date and not the current books that the kids wanted to read. I had the kids create a wishlist of books that I posted on Donorschoose. They were absolutely ecstatic when they opened the boxes of all the books they were wanting to read. It is such a great feeling to see their smiling faces and to watch them look through all the books to decided which one they get to read first. They are even having discussions with other students about what they have read. Thank you for helping my kids develop a lifelong love of reading!”

  • Student Supplies Need To Be Organized!

    Funded Mar 4, 2021

My classroom utilizes flexible seating which means they are not at a desk all day. When they are working around the room staying organized was becoming an issue. The supplies that were provided help keep everyone's supplies organized and easy to find.

My students loved opening up the boxes and putting everything in its own place. It is easy to find things and there are no longer piles of supplies on the floor or items jammed into desks. The k you for helping to organize my room and my students items.”

  • A Fun Place to Collaborate With Other Students

    Funded Mar 3, 2021

Several large boxes were delivered to my classroom. My students were so excited to see what was inside. We had so much fun opening up the boxes! They love the comfortable floor seats and the enjoy using them with the lap desks. After I explain an assignment the first words out of everyone's mouth is "can we work around the room in the chairs and desks?"

I have several students who are very active and do not fit into the mold of being able to sit at a desk all day. The options that the flexible seating have provided have cut down on disruptive behavior and the students are getting their work done on time. They also love to work on group projects together and being able to work on the floor has made them more productive. Thank you for improving my students experiences at school.”

  • Warm Fingers and Ears

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you for the warm gloves and hats that you provided for my students. I sent them home with them before or winter break and I am so glad I did. The gloves and hats were worn during the recent snow storm and some of the students were able to build snowmen with out their hands getting cold. They are able to enjoy recess more since they are staying warm outside. I wish you could have seen their faces when they opened the box. I cannot thank you enough and the kids were so excited to receive such nice gifts.”

Through a variety of games, exercises, and activities, students will develop coordination, strength, and confidence—all while having fun! Inclusivity is at the heart of our classroom. My goal is to create a space where students not only grow physically but also socially and emotionally, building lifelong skills that will support their overall well-being.
