Schools are quickly becoming a blended learning environment. This year our kindergarten teachers have been selected to be part of the blended learning cohort! That means we are using technology now more than ever! We are already blessed with ipads in a 2:1 ratio but my team would love to show our students technology in another way! Interactive whiteboards would give our students the chance to have a digital calendar, make graphs come to life, manipulate objects to help with addition and subtraction problems, edit sentences, spell words, and so much more! Being able to do all these things would help our students grow as learns and allow them to learn about different types of technology. These would allow our student to make the learn their own and discover things they might not otherwise.
