  • Cultivating Creative Learners In Our Schools!

    The file folders were used to create writing folders for our class. Each week our students have a writing assignment, the folders help keep the student's work organized. They are able to write and tract all of their entire writing assignments daily, keep tract of each stage of the writing process, make reflections, revise and edit their work.

    The class was excited about having the folders, and how it would keep them organized throughout the school year.

    The next project for our class is creating a science lab in our classroom where students can easily work on science projects.”

    This classroom project was brought to life by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and 6 other donors.
The comfy floor seats gives the students flexible seating and additional seating options during independent work. The ticket roll is used as a motivational system to keep track of and reward positive behavior. At given times I have a raffle for students with the most tickets. The privacy partitions, will keep students focus and eliminate distractions during testing. Dry Eraser Markers are used daily to model and illustrate strategies on white boards in math, and through out the day during instruction. It allows students to easily write their work and get immediate feedback. The pencil sharpener will be used by students to sharpen their pencils. The folders will be used as a writing folders during English Language Arts workshops and are essential for our Writer"s Workshop session and keeping students organized. The rolling laptop cart will allow small groups of students to work in different areas in the classroom and present classroom projects to class.
