Having an iPad in the classroom will improve my students communication skills and decrease frustration because it will give them a voice. The students with autism will benefit from the iPad by using it to communicate and interact with others. Many kids are motivated by technology. It will help my students come out of their shell and be able to engage in lessons and discussions. Once a week my students go into the community, having the iPad will allow my students to engage with others in the community such as ordering food or requesting help at a store. This is an opportunity that many people take for granted.
