Most of my students love technology so they immediately make connections across the curriculum. Technology is a tool used to engage students in a variety of ways. If I need the students to research a topic quickly, the laptops can assist in the process. Building vocabulary is another way to encourage students to utilize technology. Learning games are interactive and engages students in a different manner. Students take a sense of ownership in their learning when technology is evident. We want our students to feel empowered and successful. When reading Informational text, students can find examples of text to help them understand the text.
